A few months ago I bought another Rubix Cube, this time a 5x5x5 instead of a 3x3x3, and boy it's been a pretty hairpulling-loss of sleep period while I learned this new cube.
Yesterday, I cracked it. Yesterday, after many days of being annoyed at it, wanting to give up, regretting ever buying it. I cracked it. I solved it while on Skype with a friend who noted: "You sound absolutely crazy right now." which is probably not completely false.
So, I learned a new skill. I graduated from a 3x3x3 to the 5x5x5. I think I'm under a 1 hour solve and that's pretty good for me since I'm only on day two of having graduated.
This weekend I'm going somewhere fun. I'm going up north to the city where I grew up. This weekend is the first Fantasy Book Fair in the old buildings at Herlufsholm. I'm quite excited about it, it'll be great, fun even, at least I hope it will be, also afterwards I'm going out for SUSHI!
I haven't had sushi in months now, and i'm excited about it, it's going to really be great.
I finished the second book in the Mortal Instruments Series and I've started the third. I really need to find time to read because these books are fun to read. I'm only about 50 pages into the book. I realize it's Simon on the front cover so I assume Simon's going to get a lot of stuff to do.
