There'll be no quotes posted, no plot twists recorded. There'll only be praise.
First of The Fault in Our Stars from what you can read on the bookjacket.
Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnoses. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten.
And that, I promise you is all you need to know for now.
The Fault in Our Stars pulls heartstrings ever page. I found myself laughing one page, crying the next, suspenseful the next after that and finally, frankly a little angry.
John Green makes you feel, to phrase an internet meme, ALL OF THE THINGS.
The book's a quick read if you're 24 and used to reading, I'd imagine it would take a little longer than 4 hours for 16 year old, but those 4 hours were a whirlwind, a rollercoaster that only goes up my friend, but that takes a few turned and swivels around the way.
John Green has a way to write YA in a way that both young adult and actual adults can read it and get something or a lot out of it, and he does this without speaking down or up to anything and I think that's pretty darn brilliant.
Read it, I beg you.
DFTBA, my friends.
Currently Reading: - Nothing, my brain won't let go of TFIOS yet.
Rubiks Cube Time: Hasn't changed from last time. I've been READING.
Cartwheel: I attempted one yesterday, and sprained my ankle. LETS NOT SPEAK OF IT ANYMORE.
Currently Watching: I watched The Wizard of Oz yesterday after TFIOS. So good.
